Playing errors included to demonstrate how difficult it is to play the theremin well.To get a closer look at the aereal finger technique, right click on the video, select "zoom in" set to desired zoom, and drag the image to where you can see the hand.Instructed by Thomas Grillo on Moog Etherwave Pro theremin. This is not a substitute for professional how to play videos, books, or in-person instruction with a professional instructor. This video would not have been possible without the invaluable professional training videos, books, and workshops produced by Peter Pringle, Carolina Eyck, Pamelia Kurstin, and Lydia Kavina. All of their methods have been, and are still being studied by me.Copyright 2007 Thomas Grillo

@ThomasGrillo how much are the lesseons trough skype ? hehe thanks alot , i'll advert you when ill purchase my theremin :D
ThomasGrillo (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@EmmaInCandyland Because of the dynamic nature of the feilds around the antennas (they expand or contract as anything moves in / out) notes will often be in slightly different places then before. This is why it's the most difficult instrument in the world to play well. You will learn to adapt to these dynamic environments. Do consider my DVD, Theremin Lessons after viewing these intro lessons. Also consider the books and videos by as many theremin masters as possible. I give lessons via skype.

@ThomasGrillo Thanks a lot, yeah i think thta im gonna buy a moog one, it looks really cool :)
ThomasGrillo (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@EmmaInCandyland Well, if it has just one antenna, don't bother with it. It's a "toy" theremin. You won't be able to execute proper dynamics without a volume antenna as well as pitch.Moog theremins, Burns theremins, Wavefront, and PAiA are good theremins. Burns are the least expensive "good" theremins. Visit my channel for links to theremin manufacturers.

@ThomasGrillo Yeah :) I've found one for 125 € do you think it will be a good theremin or I better should pay top price for it ?
