@victorias9459 on my comment or the video? Because when I was saying I was smarter I was kind of exaggerating a bit but still never go to petland i do recommend the pet super market in Stuart Florida tho my family know them and we trust them but most pet shops we don't trust =(

okay they said PETLAND never ever buy from pet land! if you want a ferret go to a breeder shelter or pet super market! NEVER FROM PETCO OR PETLAND! their just disgusting! =( the last time I was their they had poop piled up so high and they stunk and the customer service was terrible! i'm 13 and I know more than these idiots! seriously! =(

Another useful tip for box training is to put the food bowl and the water bottle in 2 of the corners of the cage. They tend to not go where their food and water is. I also put an old t-shirt they liked to sleep in in the third corner, so they pretty much hadto use the litter box all the time, Broke them real fast.

@venusvsmars209 Ferrets can be nippy at first, but can almost always, with proper training and handling, be trained out of it. They nip because thats how ferrets play with other ferrets and dont realize that our skin is far thinner then another ferrets. Usually a good scruff on the neck with a sharp hiss any time they nip too hard will do the trick (thats how adult ferrets discipline their young)

@AImosTskater44 They usually live about 8-10years if your lucky. My brotherinlaw had one that lived to 15yrs, but that is exceptionally rare.. 8yrs is the norm. |
